Getting Started
Do I need to be a school or institute to use Fynamics?+
No. Fynamics works for schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and training or certification providers — and also for individual educators running their own course, with no institution required. See our landing page's “who it's for” section.
Is there a free way to try it?+
Yes — the Starter tier is free, no card required. It comes with usage limits (up to 50 candidate registrations and 2 sessions per month) so you can try the platform with a real cohort before deciding whether you need more.
How do I get started?+
Create your account directly at /get-started — no sales call needed. You'll be up and running with your first exam the same day.
Security & Data
Can Fynamics staff see our question bank or candidate data?+
As the platform operator, we technically have database access, the same as any SaaS vendor — but organization data is isolated at the database level, not just hidden in the interface, so no other organization can ever see your data through the platform. Nothing on Fynamics shares one organization's content with another.
Can we use our own domain instead of fynamicsgyan.com?+
This is on our roadmap — not available yet. Contact us if this matters for your timeline.
Can we get a fully separate, dedicated database instead of shared infrastructure?+
Every organization today runs on the same underlying database with strict isolation enforced between organizations — a proven, tested model. A fully separate database is a bigger conversation with real infrastructure implications; if this matters for your organization specifically, contact us and we'll scope it properly rather than guess at what you need.
How do you stop someone from photographing their screen to search for answers?+
Honestly — no exam platform can fully prevent this; it's a physical act no browser-based software can see. What we do instead: lockdown/fullscreen enforcement blocks the same device from switching away to search, which closes the most common cheating path, and our answer-reveal screens carry identity-linked watermarking. Broader per-screen protection during a live exam is on our roadmap, not built today. If exam integrity at this level matters enormously to your organization, contact us — this is exactly the kind of requirement that shapes what we build next.
Question Bank & Exams
What question types are supported?+
Multiple Choice, True/False, and Numeric.
Can I bulk-import questions?+
Yes, via CSV — download the import template. Each question can carry a Category and Sub-category, so a large question bank stays filterable by two dimensions at once (for example, “Class 10” and “Photosynthesis” independently).
Does the platform support subjective/essay-type questions with AI grading?+
Not currently — Fynamics supports objective question types only. This was a deliberate scoping decision, not an oversight; contact us if this is a real requirement for your organization.
Certificates
Are certificates real, verifiable credentials, or just a PDF?+
Every certificate is independently, publicly verifiable via a QR code and a verification page that requires no login — anyone can confirm a certificate is genuine in seconds. This is different from a plain PDF anyone could edit.
Is certificate verification information public?+
Yes, by design — a certificate's verification page shows the candidate's name, the exam or course, the date, and pass/completion status, visible to anyone with the link or QR code. A certificate that couldn't be independently checked wouldn't be a meaningful credential.
Can we brand certificates with our own logo and colors?+
Yes — organization branding (logo, colors) carries through to certificates automatically.
Training & Courses
Can we run training courses, not just exams?+
Yes — Courses can stand alone (no exam attached) or gate a certification exam as a prerequisite. Completing a course earns a Certificate of Completion, separate from an exam-pass certificate.
Can we host our own PDFs and training documents?+
Yes — Document modules accept a direct PDF upload, kept inside the platform's own access control rather than depending on an externally shared link's permissions.
Pricing & Plans
What does the Starter (free) tier include?+
The free Starter tier includes up to 50 candidate registrations and 2 sessions per month, at no cost and with no card required — enough to run a real cohort through the platform before deciding whether you need more. A registration is one candidate signing up for one session, and a session counts in the month it is created; limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
Are paid plans available yet?+
Yes — see our Pricing page. Paid plans raise your monthly limits and are prepaid for a monthly or annual term, with a GST tax invoice for every payment and no auto-renewal. There is no online checkout yet: contact us and we'll set your plan up as soon as your payment is received. Refund terms are on our Refund & Cancellation page.
